The Calypso Diving School and Resort is a five star PADI certified Instructor Development Center, which means that you can turn your hobby into a career and become a dive instructor. There are a total of eight instructors at the diving school and there are six different languages that are used for dives and for instruction. These languages are English, German, French, Korean, Spanish and Swedish. This makes the Calypso Diving School and Resort very much compatible with international divers and international dive students.
The Calypso Diving School and Resort offers virtually any course from open water diver to dive instructor. One of the special courses is the NRC Rebreather course which offers you to learn how to use a rebreather for your dives and certifies you for future dives with a rebreather. You can also enroll your child or your little brother or sister at the seal course, which is a diving course for kids that are eight years and above. The Calypso Diving School and Resort also have a big dive shop where you can buy or rent equipments for your upcoming dives.
The cost for the courses all vary depending on the level of certification you are going to pursue. The open water courses and advanced open water courses cost around $250 to $400 and the higher level courses go all the way up from $500 to $1,000 especially for the divemaster and the instructor development courses. If you are only interested in dives of dive safaris then spare at least a $100 to $200 for a total of five to ten dives. The dive safaris cost depending on the length of trip and depending on the location and additional sanctuary fees. Calculate around $100 to $300 for a dive safari at Calypso Diving School and Resort.
